Volunteering in The Princeton Senior Living Memory Care Neighborhood can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Our Neighborhood caters to individuals living with many different types of dementia. Volunteers play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

From providing companionship to participating in stimulating events, the opportunities for volunteers are both meaningful and endless. Let’s delve into the various types of events you, as a volunteer, can be a part of within our Memory Care Neighborhood.

Some specific examples of volunteer opportunities would be coming to help do manicures, reading short stories to the residents, and engaging in crafts with them. Our residents love when people come to visit and interact with them, especially children. You really get to see the residents light up when the younger generation comes to see them. Volunteers can be very beneficial for the residents because they help with mental stimulation, overall engagement, and laughter.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer contact the Memory Care Director or Resident Services Director.
