Thoughtful Connections is Arrow Senior Living’s Memory Care podcast featuring conversations about dementia care, Alzheimer’s support, and practical guidance for dementia caregivers.

Join Elizabeth Thompson, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional Trainer, Dementia Capable Care Specialist, and Positive Approach to Care® Certified Independent Trainer, alongside Charlie Johnson as they explore dementia-related topics and share personal experiences.

Elizabeth has attended the Alzheimer’s CARES Dementia training and holds her essentiALZ certification. She is an Alzheimer’s Support Group Facilitator and Memories in the Making Facilitator through the Alzheimer’s Association. She is a Dementia Friend through Dementia Friendly America and is Best Friends™ certified through the Best Friends Approach Training.

Their goal is to help family members, friends, and caregivers better understand how to navigate the dementia journey with knowledge, compassion, and confidence.

Free Dementia Care Education and Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support at Lee's Summit, MO

The Princeton Senior Living hosts free Dementia Care Education sessions designed to support families caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia. These in-person dementia caregiver classes provide practical communication strategies, caregiver support, and helpful resources for navigating memory loss. Each session offers Alzheimer’s caregiver education and an opportunity to connect with others who are experiencing similar caregiving journeys in the local community.

There is no cost to attend, but space is limited. Guests are kindly asked to RSVP with the community in advance.
