Outdated stereotypes often paint older adults as resistant to technology or unable to understand it. But today’s reality is quite the opposite. Many aging adults are not only embracing technology but actively seeking tools that make life easier, more connected, and engaging.
Technology use among older adults is steadily increasing. A 2024 national AARP survey revealed that 66 percent of respondents said technology enriches their lives by helping them manage daily tasks and stay connected. From video chats with loved ones to health tracking apps, older adults are speaking the digital language of convenience—and expect their living environments to evolve with them.
At The Princeton Senior Living, staying connected means more than having Wi-Fi. It means offering tools that are intuitive and useful in everyday life. The Arrow App is one of those tools. With just a few taps, residents can view dining menus, activity calendars, community updates, wellness resources, and even communicate directly with staff.
The Arrow App has significantly improved how we share information in our community. It goes beyond printed calendars and announcements on Channel 2.
Residents are downloading the app on their phones and using it daily. I use it regularly myself, and we’ve held group sessions and one-on-one tutorials in both independent and assisted living neighborhoods to support learning and use.

Residents particularly enjoy the daily articles and event listings. These features help them stay informed, entertained, and connected to what’s happening around them. Based on feedback, residents are checking the app several times a day to view menus, outings, and schedule updates. It has become a go-to resource that enhances their day-to-day experience.
Looking ahead, the Arrow App is helping prepare our communities for the next generation of residents. These future residents will expect robust digital tools and seamless tech integration. By developing these systems now, we’re building communities that meet future needs with ease, grace, and innovation.
The Arrow App is more than a tool—it is a promise. A promise to bridge communication gaps, support independence, and enhance daily living. With technology as a partner, the future of senior living is not just bright—it’s connected.
